Our Goal
The last piece of the puzzle is always the most satisfying. It’s the one that completes the entire picture. It is both closure and accomplishment. For OTS, it signifies the culmination of all efforts, patience, and determination invested by many good people. The satisfaction derived from placing the final piece is unparalleled, as it transforms scattered chaos into a harmonious whole, embodying the triumph of perseverance and the joy of all who contributed to achieving a goal.
Donate Money
As a new 501C3, we are facing a lot of startup costs. A financial donation to Off the Streets Rockville would mean a ton for our growth and success, so click the "Donate Money" link below. All donations are tax free.
Donate Furniture
We are in the process of creating operational space to accept furniture donations. We expect to be operational bt March 1st. Please hold onto your items and check back with us soon. When it is time to donate furniture, you can find our guidance for donating furniture by clicking on the "Donate Furniture" link below.
We have curated an Amazon Wishlist that will help us to minister to those in need of housing and household supplies immediately. There are also goods that we prefer to donate as new items, like mattresses and sheets. When you "check out" the default address will be OTS Rockville's deliver address.
Our biggest need is always for “heavy lifters” who can lift 40+ lbs and navigate stairs. We also have other volunteer positions which may be limited, but our volunteer team will reach out to you with more information about how you can help. Donate Time
Our Mission
We provide hope and dignity to those experiencing homelessness by helping them transition to permanent housing. We assist people referred by local social service providers with a security deposit and basic furnishings. We perform these tasks using only volunteers and donations and accept no government funding.
