Why OTS? Hear from our volunteers
309 kids went to sleep in their own beds — thanks to donors and volunteers like you. We deliver the final piece of the puzzle: the furniture, kitchenware, and bedding that make a house a home.
Since March 2025, OTS Rockville has furnished 131 families moving from local shelters into permanent housing — every couch, bed, and kitchen table donated by our community.
Of the 471 people, 309 are children. Updated through June 2026.
Our mission
We collect furniture and home goods from our local community, hotels, and businesses — and purchase new items when needed — to furnish homes for people and families moving from local shelters into permanent housing.
