Why these conversations
Learning from the people doing the work
Community Conversations helps our volunteers, and OTS as a whole, learn directly from the shelter staff, caseworkers, and advocates working on homelessness every day. The better we understand the full picture, the more effective we can be for the families we help move into new homes.
We're also sharing these talks to spread the word. People and organizations across Montgomery County and Maryland are tackling homelessness from many different angles, and we want more of our community to see that work and find their own way to help.
